Cincinnati Bengals sign Punter Kevin Huber!

The Cincinnati Bengals according to Bengals.com has signed Kevin Huber to what is said to be a four year deal. Huber adds an enormous leg up on the competition literally.

Huber was phenomenal in college at the University of Cincinnati. He led the nation in punting in his two seasons by averaging 45.5 gross yards on 125 punts, with 49 of those punts of 50+ yards. He was the first UC player to win a national punting title as a junior. Huber also only had 37 of his punts returned and none for a touchdown. Then to kick it all off he can serve as a holder for Graham if need be and most likely will for fieldgoals.

Signing a punter isn't normally a huge wonderful groundbreaking thing for a team. But for the Bengals who struggled last year in the special teams area this is HUGE!!

This signing and the others to come from the 2009 draft is just simply a major statement of improvement from the Bengals staff!
