Bengals News and Notes and how crucial the next two games are...

BALTIMORE - OCTOBER 11: Cedric Benson #32 of ...I

Bengals are coming off a bye week with BIG hopes!! It isn't common for us to be saying that the Bengals are 5-2 coming off a bye week but the fact is they are!! The Bengals needed every bit of rest that they got during the Bye week because the next two games are pivotal season implication games versus Baltimore and then Pittsburgh!!

Both teams are definitely out for revenge against the party crashing Bengals who beat Pittsburgh in Week 3 and Baltimore in Week 4. Remember those games the cardiac games where Carson Palmer had to march the Bengals down the field with only minutes left in the game to secure the victory in both!

At least this time around we hopefully will not see many botched snaps in the kicking game and we will see a more precise passing game (see Chicago) and a healthy running game with one of the league leader Cedric Benson carrying the load.

I am stoked about the upcoming games but do have to say very worried and hesistant in my confidence. I believe every one else is too afraid to jump on the Cardiac Wagon. The Baltimore game is STILL not sold out. Plus, you are talking about two ticked off and very, very good teams that want to demolish the Cardiac Cats this time around. Worth noting that Baltimore just took down undefeated Denver and Pittsburgh gave the Vikings their only loss. These next two games will be dogfights!!
