The Bengals wrapped day #2 up with a fantastic showing at the 2009 Draft. There is little or no player selected that was not a position that fit a need and made the team better. There hasn't been a draft that there was so much on the line and the Bengals needed to nail more than this year.
the CSF will report later this week on the Bengals draft grade but to be honest it seemed the Bengals should be jailed for all the thefts they had in the draft! The Maualuga pick was sensational. The patience to pick up Johnson, and then Coffman, and their patience paid off by being able to still get their Center Luigs late in the draft. And don't get started on Huber! WOW! What a Draft!
So let's recap...the Bengals got arguably the best OL, the best and most talked about LB, the most intriguing DE, the best pass catching TE in the draft, the nation's best punter, the best RB in DII, and the best Center in the nation who won the Remington Award for college centers.
I can't wait to see if the media finally gives some props to the Bengals this year or will they nit pick all their decisions from this past draft weekend.
Here again, are the Bengals picks. Leave your feedback the CSF wants to create a Draft Grade from all our readers! Click here to leave your feedback!
