Fans Favorite Shayne Graham signs tender!!

Bengals.com announced today that Cincy's fan favorite Shayne Graham signed his free agent tender today!! Graham signed his 2.5 million dollar one year tag and told Bengals.com that he will be joining the team for offseason workouts!

This adds to the impressive Bengals offseason that has seen two major free agents signed in Tank Williams and WR Coles from the Jets. Add the fanastic draft and Graham joining the team the Bengals look lock and loaded for the season!!

Graham has been the most accurate kicker ever in Bengals history and ranks fourth all time in the NFL for kicking accuracy! This alone is something to talk about in Bengaldom. Graham is not only known for his on field abilities but off field as well. Hobson writes,

And he has done a lot for the fans. His “Kicks for Kids” program assists at-risk children in Greater Cincinnati, and he has been a board member of the Cincinnati FreestoreFoodbank. Last season he helped organize the nation’s most successful “Taste of the NFL” event, raising more than $170,000 for meals for the hungry.

Thanks for signing the tender Shayne! The City of Cincinnati knows you wanted a long term deal and we would love to have you long term!! We are just glad you signed this deal and will be with us in 2009! The City of Cincinnati has to respect this man who is known for so many wonderful things!!
