04/28/2009 Terminated the contract of P Kyle Larson. Waived P Ryan Plackemeier.
The Bengals have put all their eggs in one basket not only in the RB position with Cedric Benson and by cutting Perry and Russell but they have done the same in the kicking game. Yesterday, the Bengals released Punters Kyle Larson and Ryan Plackemeier.
This basically throws all the punting responsibilities on 5th Round draft selection Kevin Huber from the University of Cincinnati. Huber was the nations best punter statistically and is a fantastic addition. There is no way he will be any worse than the kicking game was a year ago.
