Shayne Graham and the Bengals are talking. That is a sigh of relief considering it has been this long before any kind of report has come out. There are those that claim kickers are not that important, in fact, Skip, from First and Ten of ESPN, adamantly talks about getting rid of the kicking game all together and make the offensive units earn their first down instead of taking the three points.

the CSF, on the other hand, believes the kicking game is SO important and getting Graham in the fold for years to come is key to the Bengals success. It sounds funny but the Good Ole Days of the late 80's great teams you have to think about Jim Breech! Jim Breech solidified the kicking game and gave us great moments as a Bengal. Is Graham not just as important!

"Things I'm told The Bengals and franchise kicker Shayne Graham have exchanged contract proposals. The recent contract signed by Houston Texans kicker Kris Brown will play a factor in negotiations. He signed a 4-year 10-million dollar deal, with a 2.5 million dollar bonus last week."
