In a releasing happy mode this week the Bengals have released a few more veterans and picked up a practice squad player. Joe Reedy has reported that the Bengals have made a few more moves today in addition to picking up running back Larry Johnson.

The Bengals have released Tight End Ben Utecht and Wide Reciever Antonio Chatman. Utecht was supposed to be the compliment receiver for Carson Palmer but suffered a season ending injury earlier this year. Chase Coffman was drafted and is supposed to be able to carry that load whenever and if ever he gets on the field for action.

Chatman was a utility guy that returned punts and was the Bengals fourth receiver up till this year. They have picked up Safety Brannon Condren on the practice squad. Condren played for Troy in college and his latest NFL stint was with the Miami Dolphins.
